Working Together

Working together you'll find the support, understanding, focus and strategies that can make all the difference to you. You will also obtain the awareness and self control necessary for mastery of your own resistances to achieving a more satisfying life. Every successful journey begins with the first step.

The first step begins with calling and scheduling a meeting so that we can get acquainted. You will have a chance to meet me and tell me about your important issues, concerns and goals. We will have the opportunity to have a meeting of the minds and see if counseling is right for you, your child, your family or with your significant other and if it is how best to proceed.

Step two entails implementing our plan and making an appointment for an initial session. Prior to this meeting, you will have an opportunity to send me any school, medical and other reports and I may  ask you for some additional information  which will aide in evolving a counseling structure and plan best suited to accomplishing your purposes and meeting your treatment needs.

Individual counseling and psychotherapy, couple counseling, group therapy, family therapy and even parent workshops require co-operation and teamwork [even if I do the 'lion's share'] which makes communication and 'feedback' appreciated and essential to our work together.
